Service Description

Cupping therapy is one of the oldest & most effective methods of releasing toxins from body tissue & organs. It is a practice in which the therapist puts special cups on the skin to create suction. This causes the tissue beneath the cup to be drawn up & swell causing increase in blood flow to the affected area. Enhanced blood flow under the cups draws impurities & toxins away from the nearby tissues & organs towards the surface for elimination. Modern cupping uses plastic, silicon, or glass cups with a vacuum to seal to influence the myofascial tissue physiology. Therapeutic effects • Cupping helps to reduce pain & inflammation. • Improves blood flow to sore areas in muscles. • Stimulates sensory nerves of skin, improves ANS • Increase metabolism in skin tissue, better functioning of sebaceous & sweat glands, secretion of synovial fluid. • Stimulates lymphatic drainage. • Facilitates healing process by providing necessary nutrients to the area being treated & strengthens immune system. • Increase peristalsis & secretion of digestive fluids, better digestion & excretion! • Used for relaxation, well being & deep tissue massage. Side effects Cupping is a low-risk therapy. The side effects will typically occur during your treatment or immediately after. Light headedness or dizziness, sweating, nausea, itching, bruising or muscle soreness may be experienced. After treatment, the skin around the rim of the cup may become irritated & marked in a circular pattern. The residual marks left from cupping disappear in 1-10 days.
